Mr Tan consults from his rooms at 23 Canning Street, Launceston.

Mr Tan graduated from Melbourne University and completed his urology training in Victoria in 2016. Mr Tan undertook his fellowship training at Western Hospital specialising in advanced laparoscopic surgery including laparoscopic radical prostatectomy, laparoscopic partial nephrectomy and laparoscopic pyeloplasty. Additionally, Mr Tan undertook full-time research in 2009 based in the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research and Austin Health in the treatment of advanced renal cancer.

Mr Tan has special interests in advanced laparoscopic surgery and minimally invasive laser stone treatment. Mr Tan also offers a range of treatment options including laser prostate surgery for men with voiding difficulties.
